Awarded on June 7, 2021, Chongqing Industrial Design Headquarters Base is a key “14th Five-Year Plan” project. Using a “Headquarters Plus” model (“1 HQ + 38 district sub-centers + 5 specialized centers + resource pool”), it forms a distributed linkage hub to gather resources, drive industry, and boost regional influence. Sub-centers in Dazu, Bishan, etc., are operational.
Transformed from Piegon Cable Factory, this park preserves industrial heritage blending tradition & modernity. Awarded multiple municipal honors, it’s a model for university-community collaboration & urban renewal.
Jointly built Jinshan Yiku transforms industrial buildings into a cultural park. Driven by art & creativity, it blends work and leisure, aiming to be West China’s cultural landmark.
TESTBED 2 revitalized a 1930s banknote factory into an industrial heritage creative hub. Designed by Will Alsop, it blends culture, commerce and tourism as Chongqing’s landmark.
In June 2023, five foreign artists gathered at Jinshan Yiku to jointly present the “Ba Shi – Foreign Artists in Chengdu and Chongqing” art exhibition.
