Chongqing’s Thriving Design Ecosystem

Chongqing has emerged as a dynamic hub for industrial design and innovation, with 10 national-level and 165 municipal-level industrial design centers established in the city. Additionally, 22 national-level industrial design centers and 1 national industrial design research institute have expanded their presence by opening branches in Chongqing.

The city is home to 153 design-driven enterprises and over 400 survey and design firms, collectively driving the cultural, creative, and design services industry to an annual output value exceeding 200 billion RMB.
