This project realizes a path-breaking integration of art design into the transportation industry through university-enterprise cooperation. It is committed to strengthening China’s power in transportation and promoting the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.

In view of the enhancement requirement on environmental quality, the project innovatively puts forward a new type of transportation design, along the river to create micro-rail transportation and river crossing. This is a new type of land and water transportation system unique to the characteristics and convenience of Chongqing, a mountain city, which could solve the issues of tourism circulation and efficiency so as to improve the quality of transportation and consumer experience. The open double-decker carriages allow for a wide view, individualized space, and a strong sense of futuristic and stylistic unity in the shape of the facility’s products.
