Boosting the Creation of the City of Design! 14 Entities Selected for the Chongqing International Design Cooperation and Exchange Center

Recently, our city has announced the list of entities included in the Chongqing International Design Cooperation and Exchange Center. 14 entities such as China-Singapore (Chongqing) Industrial Design Co., Ltd., Chongqing University of Technology, and Chongqing Low Carbon Association have been successfully selected.

List of the Chongqing International Design Cooperation and Exchange Center

The collection work for the Chongqing International Design Cooperation and Exchange Center officially started this May. It was jointly initiated by the Chongqing Municipal Economy and Informatization Commission and the Chongqing Municipal Government Foreign Affairs Office, and a wide range of collections was made from enterprises, institutions, associations, and parks throughout the city. During this period, through multi-level audits by relevant units, organized expert voting and selection, as well as public announcements, the list of the Chongqing International Design Cooperation and Exchange Center was finally determined.

According to the person in charge, the selected entities mainly come from nine districts and counties such as Yubei District, Yuzhong District, Liangjiang New Area, Western Science City Chongqing High-tech Zone, Jiangbei District, Nan’an District, Banan District, Beibei District, and Bishan District. The types of entities include local institutions, enterprises, and associations, covering a wide range of exchanges involving many countries and regions such as Hungary, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Germany, and Australia. The cooperative projects involve various fields such as international design education, design academic exchanges, cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology, and art design cultivation, introduction of design talents, and competition activities.

In the next step, the Chongqing International Design Cooperation and Exchange Center will fully exert the cooperative and interactive construction roles of “Chongqing Design” and “Global Design”, continuously enhance Chongqing’s international influence, accelerate the construction of the national industrial design demonstration city, and help create the City of Design. At the same time, with the consent of the Chongqing Municipal Economy and Informatization Commission and the Chongqing Municipal Government Foreign Affairs Office, excellent entities can also be recommended for inclusion in the construction system of our city’s Central and Western International Exchange Center, fully supporting the construction of our city’s Central and Western International Exchange Center.
