The Summit Forum of Green-Design Promoting “Carbon Peak and Neutrality” in Chongqing, China

On September 17, 2021, the 1st Summit Forum of Green Design Promoting “Carbon Peak and Neutrality” in Chongqing, China, was successfully held in Nanan District and Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone. With the theme of “Green for Symbiosis, Zero-Carbon for Future,” the forum was organized by the Organizing Committee of Smart China Expo, under the guidance of Chongqing Association for Science and Technology, and co-organized by the People’s Government of Chongqing, Nanan District, Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone Administrative Committee, Dragon Design Foundation, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Chongqing Industrial Design Association, Chongqing Upper Yangtze River Green Design Research Institute, and supported by the World Green Design Organization. This forum is not only a high-level academic exchange on green design but also a wisdom feast for experts in the field of green and low-carbon. Their insightful views on green development and systematic top-level design strategies will inject a sustained strong impetus for China’s green development and the realization of dual-carbon goals, fulfill the mission of Chongqing to “play a demonstration role in promoting the green development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,” and embody the “upstream role.”
