UNI-K Won the Extreme Award in the 2021 “Smart Expo Cup” China Industrial Design Competition

On July 28, the award ceremony of the 2021 “Smart Expo Cup” China Industrial Design Competition was successfully held in Chongqing. Changan UNI-K won the Extreme Award.

The 2021 “Smart Expo Cup” China (Chongqing) Industrial Design Competition

“Smart Expo Cup” China (Chongqing) Industrial Design Competition is hosted by Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, and jointly undertaken by Chongqing Municipal Economy and Information Technology Commission, Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, Chongqing Banan District People’s Government and Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Management Committee. As the only provincial industrial design competition in Chongqing, the “Smart Expo Cup” has built an excellent platform for the industrialization of creative innovations and high-quality development since its establishment. Now, it is gradually becoming a renowned and significant symbol in the field of industrial design in Western China and even the whole country.

Entry criteria

Under the theme of “Design Empowers Intelligent Manufacturing”, “Smart Expo Cup” called for innovative works in four areas of equipment manufacturing, better life, industry services, and conceptual design in 2021. The review committee composed of domestic industrial design experts evaluated the collected works from comprehensive aspects of creativity, practicality, aesthetics, economic and social value, etc. There were four kinds of awards: gold, silver, bronze, and the highest honor–extreme award. As the future mass producer of science and technology, UNI-K fulfills the expectation of stylish look and practical function. Changan’s first hybrid car, UNI-KiDD, which was launched this year, brings more travel surprises to users with clean energy and outstanding performance. Winning the award graciously, UNI-K showed the design community the technology with warmth.
