Inaugural Chongqing Design 100 Forum and Awards Ceremony

The inaugural Chongqing Design 100 Forum and Awards Ceremony was held on August 23 in Bishan district, Chongqing. The results of the inaugural Chongqing Design 100 selection were announced, with a total of 100 platforms, organizations, institutions, and individuals receiving awards. The Industrial Culture Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Chongqing Daily Newspaper Group signed an agreement to jointly establish the Industrial Culture Development (Chengdu-Chongqing) Center.

Since its launch in September 2022, the inaugural Chongqing Design 100 selection has conducted online and offline activities including registration, online voting, expert evaluation, and public announcements. It has recognized a group of platforms, organizations, institutions, and individuals that have played a leading role in innovation in building Chongqing as a City of Design through five major actions: fostering market subjects, cultivating professional talents, shaping brand activities, developing carrier platforms, and building a design ecosystem.

This event aims to promote the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry through industrial design in Chongqing, and to facilitate the integration of design with rural revitalization, urban renewal, cultural arts, and a better life, thereby supporting Chongqing in becoming a City of Design.
