Chongqing Changan Technology Co., Ltd. has recently been selected for the “New Chongqing Contribution Award Special Prize”. Stepping into the Changan Technology R&D Center, engineers are finalizing the upgrade plan for the next-generation SDA architecture. The SDA architecture is the company’s self-developed digital-intelligent vehicle technology platform. Its greatest innovation lies in decoupling the vehicle’s underlying software from its application software, allowing the vehicle’s system to be upgraded just like a smartphone operating system. This has increased the efficiency of new feature development by over 30% and reduced the new model matching cycle from 15 months to just 4 months, accelerating the evolution of vehicles into “intelligent mobile robots”.

Cao Bin, General Manager of Software Architecture Engineering at Chongqing Changan Technology Co., Ltd., said: “What we are doing, through this architecture, is to comprehensively upgrade our vehicles from ‘becoming intelligent through software’ to ‘understanding you better through AI’. We have equipped the car with a flexible, upgradable AI brain, and at the same time, we have installed an ultra-fast whole-vehicle neural network. With just one voice command, the user can intelligently control the air conditioning, seats, and all other devices in the car.”

Built on this leading technology platform architecture, Changan Technology has achieved multiple key technological breakthroughs in areas such as intelligent driving, smart cockpits, and intelligent chassis control. Its intelligent brand, “Tianshu Intelligence”, has gained recognition across the industry. Currently, Tianshu Intelligent Driving has entered mass production, with its autonomous driving capabilities ranking among the top tier in China. Tianshu Smart Cockpit has been installed in multiple latest models of “Chongqing-made” smart connected new energy vehicles. Over the past three years since its establishment, the company has also undertaken several national strategic projects and received honors such as the Benchmark Award for Annual Vehicle Electronic Architecture Platform Solutions and the Outstanding Enterprise of the Year.
