Chongqing participated in the Chiang Rai Creative Cities Network Forum in Thailand to explore ASEAN design cooperation

Recently, the Chiang Rai Creative Cities Network Forum in Thailand was successfully held, and Chongqing, as the UNESCO Creative City of Design, was invited to participate. Hosted by Chiang Rai, also the City of Design, the forum brought together global creative cities from more than 10 countries and regions, including Chongqing, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Bandung, and Seoul.

During the event, Chongqing shared and exchanged views on the construction of a city of design, and had friendly interactions with representatives of ASEAN countries such as Thailand and Indonesia, strengthened ASEAN creative city cooperation, and discussed new paths for the design industry to promote urban development.

In addition, Chongqing had in-depth exchanges with Chiang Rai on the new energy vehicle talent joint training college project, and the two sides initially reached a cooperation intention. The project aims to focus on serving the development of green design and technological innovation through cross-border school-enterprise cooperation, and jointly cultivate talents in the field of new energy vehicles with international vision and technical capabilities. This event effectively enhanced the international influence of Chongqing City of Design and laid the foundation for further deepening ASEAN design cooperation and seeking international projects.
