China (Chongqing) International Fashion Week

On September 20, 2019, the opening ceremony of the 2019 China (Chongqing) International Fashion Week, themed “City of Mountains and Rivers, Fashion Capital,” took place at the Danzishi Square on Nanbin Road, in the Nan’an District of Chongqing. The six-day event showcased works from China’s top fashion designers, emerging designers, and renowned brands, putting the spotlight on China’s innovative fashion designs in clothing and accessories, which fully embodied a spirit of celebration and love for the country.

On September 17, 2020, the five-day China (Chongqing) International Fashion Week 2020, themed “Fashion is Life,” was unveiled at the former site of the French Naval Barracks on Nanbin Road, Chongqing. Amid an extraordinary Year of the Rat, Chongqing’s fashion industry again displayed its vibrant image as a “city of mountains and rivers, a beautiful place” through innovative models and a series of exciting activities. By employing the core concept of “Big Fashion, Win-Win,” it continued to foster the joint development of culture, commerce, tourism, and the fashion industry.

On October 12, 2021, the grand opening ceremony of the “Changan Second Generation CS55PLUS·2021 China (Chongqing) International Fashion Week” (hereinafter referred to as Fashion Week) was held at the Zi Shui Square in the Nan’an District of Chongqing, the Southern Migration Memorial Museum of the Imperial Palace’s Cultural Relics.

On December 28, 2022, the “Changan Ruicheng PLUS·2022 China (Chongqing) International Fashion Week,” co-hosted by the Chongqing Textile and Garment Association and Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd., commenced in the Yuelai Wisdom Island of Chongqing’s Liangjiang New District. This Fashion Week was themed “Original Force·META Realm,” innovatively exploring the concept of the “Metaverse” and seeking sustainable solutions for the fashion industry in the post-pandemic era through cross-border initiatives.
