The China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Forum on the Digital Economy Industry Opened in Chongqing

On August 23, 2021, the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Forum on the Digital Economy Industry opened in Chongqing, jointly hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC, Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, the SCO Secretariat, and Chongqing Municipality People’s Government.

With the theme Developing Digital Economy, Promoting Common Prosperity, the forum mainly consists of an opening ceremony and main sub-forum, a signing ceremony of cooperative projects, sub-forums, and thematic exhibitions. The five sub-forums are the Globalized Digital Economy 100 Forum, E-commerce Sub-forum, Smart Tourism Sub-forum, Smart Logistics and Digital Channel Development Sub-forum, and Parallel Session of Trade and Economic Multifunctional Platform for SCO countries in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area. Participants will talk about the forum, discuss the new direction of development, explore new modes of exchange, promote a new ecology of cooperation, and showcase new development results.
