Leading Embodied AI Enterprise Galaxy General Establishes New Company in Chongqing’s Bishan District, Plans to Build Industrial Innovation Center

According to information from the Qichacha app, Chongqing Galaxy General Robotics Co., Ltd. has recently been established, with its registered address in Bishan District, Chongqing. Its business scope includes research and development of intelligent robots, sales of intelligent robots, manufacturing of industrial robots, sales of industrial robots, research and development of mechanical equipment, and more.

Equity structure analysis on Qichacha shows that the company is wholly owned by Beijing Galaxy General Robotics Co., Ltd. (referred to as Galaxy General).

Previously, the People’s Government of Bishan District, Chongqing, and Galaxy General held a project cooperation signing ceremony, marking the official establishment of this leading domestic enterprise in the embodied AI field in Chongqing. Both parties reached comprehensive cooperation agreements on the pilot development of embodied intelligent robot hardware, promotion of application scenarios, and construction of an industrial ecosystem.

As part of this cooperation, Galaxy General will build an Embodied Intelligent Robotics Industrial Innovation Center in Bishan. They will jointly promote the large-scale deployment of thousands of embodied robots in scenarios such as industrial manufacturing, commercial services, healthcare and wellness, and vocational education. The collaboration also aims to jointly build an industrial ecosystem that includes a supply chain adaptation center, a research and development pilot center, a secondary development center, and a data collection training ground.

Publicly available information indicates that Galaxy General was founded in May 2023. The company focuses on the research, development, and sales of general-purpose robot products. It is a representative startup in China’s embodied AI field and a top-tier international high-tech enterprise specializing in embodied large model robots.

On January 25 of this year, China Central Television (CCTV) officially announced that Galaxy General will be the designated embodied large model robot provider for the 2026 CCTV Spring Festival Gala.
