The winning works of the 4th “Zhibo Cup” Industrial Design Competition were released

On July 4, the final evaluation results of the 4th “Smart China Cup” China (Chongqing) Industrial Design Competition hosted by the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government were released, and 5 works including AVATR 07 finally stood out among the 192 shortlisted works and won the first prize in each category of the competition.

The “Smart China Cup” China (Chongqing) Industrial Design Competition has been successfully held for four sessions since its launch in 2019, aiming to build a comprehensive platform for industrial design industry promotion, achievement incubation and talent cultivation, help industrial design innovation, and promote the continuous upgrading of the industry.

According to reports, this competition collected 3,278 works, involving more than 30 countries, provinces, municipalities and regions, more than 50 colleges and universities, more than 100 enterprises and teams participating. On March 14 this year, well-known experts from all over the world judged the works of the competition. After publicity and other procedures, 192 works entered the final evaluation stage. On April 27, in accordance with the requirements of the competition, the final review committee will conduct a final review of the shortlisted works.

In the end, 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 17 third prizes, and 229 excellence awards were awarded. Among them, the product “Avatr 07” of Chongqing car company Avatr Technology (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. won the first prize in the product category; “Sparky Robot Dog” created by Hengbot (Chongqing) Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Topological Space Industrial Design Co., Ltd., and “Human-Machine Joint Lunar Mobile Workstation” created by Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts won the first prize in the concept category respectively. Chongqing Normal University’s “Design Dazu – Dazu Hardware Design Model Innovation Service Based on MITZ” won the first prize in the service category; Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts’ work “Series of Research on the Construction of Cultural Industries Driven by Harmony and Beauty Countryside” won the first prize in the theoretical category.

“Driving the high-quality development of the industrial design industry with big data intelligence is a highlight of Chongqing’s industrial design industry, and the award-winning works of this competition have a high level of digital intelligence.” Xie Fei, leader of the final evaluation expert group of the competition, said that with the development of emerging technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence, industrial design is evolving from a single product design to a “intelligence + service + manufacturing” system solution.
